- Inter-provincial delegation to study policies to promote small, micro and medium size enterprises (SMMEs) in Germany
- Attended a course on Regional Economic Development organised by the German Foundation for International Development (DSE)
- Europe-South Africa (ESA) investment promotion seminars in Bonn and Milan
- Training programme on investment promotion for board members of Investment South Africa (ISA) conducted by the Economic Development Board (EDB) in Singapore
- Counterpart training programme on policies to promote small business organised by the Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in Japan
